About Mood & Wellbeing

Mood and mental health is the busiest part of this site and the one to handle most carefully. Anxiety, low mood, stress, insomnia and swings are universal; what differs is duration, intensity and whether daily life is affected. A scale helps turn a vague "not right" into items you can describe.

There are classic instruments here, SCL-90, DASS-21, SDS and SAS, along with short measures of wellbeing, emotional stability and sleep. They screen and raise awareness; they do not diagnose. If low mood lasts more than two weeks, if interest has clearly gone, or if there are thoughts of harming yourself, contact a psychiatrist or a crisis line directly.
