About Cognition

These tests measure specific steps in how the brain handles information: whether you hold it, whether you can stay on it, whether you can pull a rule out of noise, whether you can decide under pressure. These overlap with school performance but are not the whole of being smart.

Expect thinking-style measures, a six-dimension ADHD screen, autism trait screening, memory and attention tasks, perceived stress, and some items closer to IQ tests. Be careful with the neurodiversity screens in particular: they flag a cluster of traits, not a diagnosis. Adult ADHD and autism are diagnosed by a specialist.
