About Ability & Talent

Ability tests cover what you are good at, a different question from what you like. Someone may love writing and be average at it, or pick something up instantly and feel nothing for it. The ideal is overlap. Failing that, at least know where your weak side is.

Expect aptitude batteries, soft-skill scans, cognitive flexibility and potential, multiple intelligences, and skill-tree self-audits. Ability tests are easily distorted by self-assessment bias, so anchor answers in events: what you finished in the past year, what people come to you for help with.
